Taking advantage of Niigata's geographical advantages, we cultivate specialists who can solve modern-day problems by viewing agriculture and food as a continuous process. The core "Niigata Food Production Project" cooperates with companies and other organizations to provide practical experience from production to distribution. Through English language exercises and internships both in Japan and overseas, we cultivate "agriculture and food specialists" with high levels of expertise and practical skills.
Nuclear Regulation and Disaster Risk Management Program
This program cultivates individuals with specialized knowledge of radiation, nuclear power, and regulations, as well as expertise in natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, strengthening social infrastructure, and disaster medical care. This program is suitable for those aiming to become inspectors for the Nuclear Regulation Authority, and cultivates a strong sense of ethics and solid analytical skills. Students will receive a certificate of completion upon earning the required credits, and will develop a multifaceted perspective that supports social safety.

Advanced Agricultural Human Resources Development Program in Kazakhstan
The program aims to develop highly skilled agricultural human resources who can contribute to the development of crop breeding and pest management in response to climate change in Kazakhstan and CIS countries, cultivation management represented by smart agriculture, the agricultural production base, improving the quality and value-added of agricultural and livestock products, and agricultural and forestry product distribution. It also aims to train Japanese experts who can contribute to the development of agricultural human resources in other countries.
