Designing with science
Program Overview
This is an "evolving professional program" that focuses on analyzing and solving scientific issues related to life phenomena, the natural environment, and food, as well as development issues aimed at social implementation. It delves deeply into basic life sciences, applied life and food sciences, bioresource science, watershed environmental studies, urban and environmental design, earth science, and disaster science, from the basics to applications, and cultivates highly specialized human resources and researchers/educators who can contribute to society from a multifaceted perspective.
The type of person the program cultivates
This program focuses on analyzing and solving scientific issues related to life phenomena and the natural environment in fields such as basic life sciences, applied life and food sciences, bioresource sciences, watershed environmental studies, urban and environmental design, earth sciences, and disaster science, as well as development issues aimed at implementing them in society. It aims to cultivate human resources who will contribute to the steady development of the region and the world, especially to scientific research related to life phenomena and the natural environment and their social implementation.
