Human Brain and Health Sciences Program

Program Overview

This is a "Niigata Interdisciplinary" program based on neuroscience and health science, which aims to develop highly specialized human resources and researchers/educators who will contribute to solving social issues in an aging society through the prevention and treatment of various brain diseases including dementia, the extension of healthy lifespan, and the use of digital health technology.

The type of person the program cultivates

In recent years, with Japan's rapidly aging population, there has been an urgent need to take measures against brain diseases such as dementia and to promote preventive medicine to curb rising medical costs.
This program is based on neuroscience and health science, and aims to improve lifestyles and promote advanced digital health technologies.AIIn addition to contributing to solving social issues specific to an aging society through the use of social media, we will also foster human resources who will promote community health and social connections and contribute to the steady development of the region and the world.
