History of the Graduate School of Modern Society and Culture
In order to promote the advancement of education and research, the Graduate School of Humanities was established in April 1993 as a comprehensive graduate school of Humanities and Social Sciences, integrating the doctoral programs of the Graduate School of Humanities, Graduate School of Law, and Graduate School of Economics.
Since then, the university has expanded to include master's and doctoral programs, including master's programs in each graduate school, and has undergone several reorganizations to reach its current status of 15 courses in 9 fields and 4 majors in the master's program, and 7 fields in the doctoral program.
