Hybrid Field Science Human Resource Development Program (S-EARTH)

Field science is an academic field that focuses on information about the "outdoors," which form the foundation of society and life. Niigata University has launched S-EARTH (Sustainable Earth) and is collaborating with nine universities in the Indo-Pacific region to develop an international educational program. The program aims to build a sustainable society that meets the needs of the SDGs, including a correct understanding of the Earth and the environment and the efficient use of natural resources.

Global Dormitory Program (G-DORM)

For the development of both the Mekong region and Niigata region, this program implements an exchange program that combines "Niigata University's dormitory-style education," "collaboration with Niigata regional companies," and "Mekong region cooperation," with the aim of "cultivating global leaders in science and engineering who have the ability to solve regional revitalization issues and an integrated perspective."
